Our roots on the coast go back to traditions of building and creating for family members through multiple generations. Don Parker’s love of design began as a child and developed into a persisting passion that led him to pursuing his dreams in creating and design.

After working many summer jobs with architectures and home builders, Parker began his education at MGCCC and studied Drafting. Continuing his career at USM, Parker earned his Bachelors of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology. In between studying, Parker honed his entrepreneurial skills and managed to start his own small business repairing apartments by hiring his classmates as his workforce.

After college, Parker ventured away from Mississippi and gained valuable experience in a construction-thriving Florida. As a field engineer, Parker visited many memorable sites such as Disney’s Beach Club/Yacht Club hotel, 4 Universal studios attractions, Mayo clinic 4-story addition, Barnette Tower 28-story retail and office building,prisons, shopping centers and several municipal buildings. As rewarding as those experiences were, there was something that was calling Parker back home.

After returning to Mississippi, Parker held various positions as different architectural and engineering firms but really had a desire to begin his own business. In 2001, his dreams were realized when Parker Design and Management opened it’s door for business. Over the past 19 years, we’ve completed over 600 projects.

At PDM, we strive to bring something extra to every project. We want to make sure that we have improved our customer’s quality of life. This means having a home that makes every day activities easier and hosting more enjoyable. We know that your home can affect your mood so we take pride in every detail of a project. Our favorite part of designing is seeing the completed project that brings joy and happiness to our customers.
